Someone said I needed a website.

It took a while to pull together, but sidneymcgill.com is ready.

sidneymcgill.comThe goal with the website was to keep things simple to update, a clean design, and well organised. I needed somewhere to tell a little about myself, a place to show photos, a place keep my race Results, and make the occasional Blog post. I’m so happy to finally have my own website and I really hope you like it. Please take a look around and let me know what you think.

Great way to finish off 2015, riding in Victoria 🚲🌿 @pedalheadedm @norcobicycles @canmtbcycling

Updates should be posted to this website regularly, so be sure to check back.

On the home page, subscribe to my email Newsletter. I’ll be sending out quick updates and status reports throughout the year.

I also like to post photos to Instagram and Twitter.

I am really excited and looking forward to my upcoming race season. The first Canada Cup of the year is coming up quick and will be held at Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I have been lucky to train multiple times in Victoria the past few months and had a good look at the course. It is going to be a great race!

Some other huge news… I’ve been selected to join the Canadian National Mountain Bike Team and at the beginning of April 2016 will be travelling to Europe to race in the UCI World Cup MTB Junior Series. The first race will be in Switzerland, followed by Germany the next weekend (see Results). This will be my first overseas race – so pumped – Europe here I come!

Pedalhead Bicycle Works, Edmonton, Alberta, CanadaA big thanks to Pedalhead Bicycle Works and Norco Bicycles for the amazing support this year. If you need a new bike or some gear, get in touch with to crew at Pedalhead. They know their stuff and have been long time supporters of the local cycling community.

I couldn’t do any of this without the support of my family. Thanks mom, dad and my sis, Abbey McGill.
